Preparing your table…

Build down: any suit may sit on the next rank up. Move together: a descending run of one suit. Clear: eight suited runs from K to A.

Ten columns. Eight satisfying finishes.

Spider Solitaire begins with 104 cards. Fifty-four form ten columns, with only the top card of each column face up. The other fifty wait in the stock. Build descending sequences on the table, then complete eight King-to-Ace runs of a single suit to clear the board.

Choose 1 suit for a gentler introduction, 2 suits for a bigger sorting challenge, or 4 suits for the full classic puzzle. These are random shuffles, so a deal is not guaranteed to have a winning solution.

The moves that make room

A face-up card can sit on a card exactly one rank higher, even when their suits differ. For example, a seven can move onto an eight. A group moves together only when every card in that group is face up, in descending order, and of the same suit. An empty column accepts any movable card or suited run.

When a move exposes a face-down card, that card turns over. A complete suited King-to-Ace run clears automatically. Try uncovering hidden cards and keeping an empty column available before adding more cards to the table.

Use Deal a row to place one new card on each of the ten columns. Every column must contain a card first. There are five stock deals; each one can cover a useful sequence, so look for helpful moves before dealing.

A comfortable table on any screen

Tap or click a movable card, then choose its destination. On a desktop, you can also drag cards between columns. On a phone, tap a card and use the destination buttons to reach any legal column, including one outside the visible area. Slide across the table to inspect the other columns. Full screen gives the cards more room, and turning a phone sideways can show more of the table at once.

Undo lets you try a different decision, including taking back a deal or a completed run. Hint points out a legal move; it does not promise the best route or a winning solution. Pause whenever you need a break.

How does the score work?

You begin with 500 points. Each accepted move or stock deal costs one point, and each completed King-to-Ace run adds 100 points. Undo restores the score and move count from before that action. The timer measures your active play, separately from the score.

Can I move a mixed-suit sequence?

You can build downward using different suits, but you cannot pick up a mixed-suit sequence as one packet. Move its cards separately or reorganize them into a correctly ordered run of one suit first. In a one-suit game, every descending run already matches suits.

Why can’t I deal more cards?

Stock cards are dealt across all ten columns together. Fill any empty column with a movable card or run before dealing. Once all five rows have been dealt, the stock is empty; continue arranging the cards already on the table.

Will my game and achievements save?

Your current game saves in this browser when storage is available, so you can return to the table later. Earned achievements save separately. Starting a new game, restarting the current deal, or changing the number of suits replaces the current table; a game in progress asks for confirmation first. You can still play if the browser blocks saving.

What happens if I run out of moves?

Check Hint and the stock. If no legal move or stock deal is available, you can undo earlier decisions, restart the same shuffle, or begin a new game. A random shuffle is not a promise that every deal can be won.
