A few hidden words. A little room to think.

Preparing your puzzle…

Drag in a straight line, or tap a word’s two ends. Either direction counts. Use arrows and Enter on a keyboard; Escape clears a selection. Found letters can be used again.

A familiar puzzle. A fresh set of words.

Find every word in the list to complete the puzzle. Each word follows a straight horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line. Words can run in any of eight directions, including backwards and upwards. Select either end first: both endpoint orders count.

Words may cross or share letters. Finding one word does not remove those letters or stop you using them again. Only the listed words count toward completion, and each listed word counts once. If a listed word appears elsewhere in the actual grid, that valid occurrence counts too.

Drag a line, or tap two ends.

On a phone, drag from one end of a word to the other, then lift your finger. The preview snaps to the nearest straight direction to help with a slightly wobbly drag. You can also tap the first letter, then the last, which is useful for precise selection. Tap the same starting letter again or press Escape to cancel. A rejected line does not remove any words you already found.

Use the arrow keys to move around the grid on a keyboard. Enter or Space chooses an endpoint. H gives a hint, U undoes, R redoes, and P pauses. Full screen gives the grid and word list more space; Back returns to the page.

Choose your own pace.

Choose a theme and a Small 8×8, Classic 10×10, or Large 12×12 grid. All three sizes use the same eight-direction rules. Every new puzzle is generated for this site from our own theme collections, with every listed target placed in the grid. There is no time limit, and incorrect selections do not end the game.

A hint highlights the first letter of one remaining word. It does not fill the word for you: look for its direction and select both ends. Asking for a hint counts as assistance immediately, even if you choose to continue thinking before selecting the word.

Keep your finds, and enjoy the progress.

Undo and Redo let you revisit your finds. Your current puzzle, found lines, selected starting point, active-play time, and earned achievements save in this browser when storage is available. A restored puzzle waits for you to resume. You can keep playing when saving is unavailable, but keep the tab open to keep that puzzle.

Earn eight achievements for actual finds, diagonal words, and completed puzzles. Their celebrations stay clear of the grid and controls. Restart returns to the same puzzle and keeps the attempt’s hint history; starting a new puzzle gives you a fresh attempt. Undo, replaying a completed puzzle, or restarting cannot count the same victory again.

Can a word bend around a corner?

No. Every target follows one straight horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line. A tap selection must have aligned endpoints. Drag previews snap to a straight direction, but do not create bent words.

Can I use a letter that is already highlighted?

Yes. Words can overlap. Every letter remains selectable after a find, and the word list shows which targets still remain.

Why did selecting a word twice not increase my count?

Each listed word counts once. Selecting it again, in either direction or in another occurrence, does not create another find or achievement reward.

Do I have to use the same direction as the printed word?

No. Select either end first. A word written right-to-left, for example, can be selected from right-to-left or left-to-right.

Will changing the theme erase this puzzle?

Changing the theme or grid size starts a new puzzle. When you have started playing, a confirmation lets you keep the current puzzle instead. New puzzle also replaces the grid; Restart keeps the same letters and words.

Will my progress appear on another device?

Progress is stored in this browser, without an account. Another browser or device has its own save. Clearing site data or blocking storage can remove or prevent saving.
