Alaska is a one-deck relative of Yukon Solitaire. All 52 cards begin in seven tableau columns; there is no stock, waste or redeal. The first column has one exposed card. Each later column has one more concealed card and five exposed cards. Uncovering a concealed card turns it face up automatically.
Select any face-up tableau card and move it together with every card on top of it. The group does not need to be ordered or share a suit. Its first card must land on an exposed card of the same suit and exactly one rank higher or lower: for example, 3♦ can go on 2♦ or 4♦. Aces and Kings do not wrap around. An empty column accepts only a King or a group beginning with a King.
Four foundations. One complete deck.
Build each fixed-suit foundation from Ace through King. Only a single exposed end card of a tableau column can move to a foundation. In this classic variant, foundation cards stay there; undo is available if you want to reconsider. Move all 52 cards to the four foundations to win.
On a phone, tap a card and then its destination column. The selection strip names your card and group size, keeping small cards easy to identify. Double-click an end card, or select it and choose To Foundation, to build a foundation. Use arrow keys and Enter or Space on a keyboard. F sends the selected end card to its foundation, H previews a legal move, U undoes, R redoes, and P pauses. Full screen makes more room; tall columns can scroll inside the table.
Your pace, your next move.
There is no time limit. The clock counts active play and pauses when you leave the tab. Your current deal, moves, legal undo/redo history and eight achievements save in this browser when storage is available. Undo can revisit up to 200 actions. Restart keeps the same shuffled deal and hint history; New Deal creates a fresh attempt. Undoing or restarting a won attempt cannot count the same victory again.
Random deals are not guaranteed winnable. A hint shows a legal move, not a promise that it leads to a win. If no legal move is available, you can undo or restart. Even when moves remain, a position may require rethinking earlier choices. Our card artwork and shuffled deals are original.
