    Same pictures. A clear connection.

Match two tiles with the exact same face. Their route travels horizontally and vertically through empty spaces with at most two turns. It may go around the outside edge. Tiles never fall or slide, and there are no stacks or Mahjong Solitaire side-blocking rules.

A table that suits your screen.

Compact is our 6-column, 8-row board with 48 tiles. Classic has 12 columns, 8 rows and 96 tiles. Both use original suited pictures and four copies of each chosen face. Dots, Bamboo and Characters match only their exact suit and rank. There are no flower, season or honor wildcards.

Fit board shows the entire board and its outside path gutter. Tiles can be small, particularly in Classic or a short landscape window. Larger tiles makes each tile at least 44 pixels wide and lets you scroll inside the table. The page stays in place. Compact is the fresh phone default; choosing Classic on a small screen starts with larger tiles.

    Find your next pair.

Tap or click a tile and then its match. Tapping the same tile again clears the selection. A different face selects that tile instead; an obstructed matching pair stays on the board. A successful connection briefly traces its route without blocking your next move.

Arrow keys move between remaining tiles. Home and End move along a row; Enter or Space selects. H requests a hint, S shuffles, U undoes, Y redoes and P pauses. Escape clears a selected tile or hint, closes a dialog, or leaves full screen. On a small screen, a deliberate game action opens the immersive table; passive reload does not.

Three hints. Two shuffles. Your way back.

Hint highlights a currently legal pair and leaves you to remove it. It does not promise that following that pair keeps a full winning route. Shuffle changes faces among the same occupied positions while preserving holes, the remaining face inventory and your cleared-pair progress. A successful shuffle supplies a verified clearing route. When Shuffle cannot rearrange the remaining tiles into a clearable table, it explains this without spending a shuffle or changing the board.

There are three hints and two successful shuffles for the same deal. Undo, Redo and Restart do not refund tools or reroll a shuffle. A hint request that diagnoses no available pair still records assistance, even when no hint token is spent. The no-matches message is a recovery state: try a remaining Shuffle, Undo, Restart or a fresh deal. It does not pretend that a board with tiles left has been cleared.

Your current deal and up to 200 Undo/Redo actions save in this browser. Restart restores the same starting table as practice; it keeps tool use, the first result and help history. New deal starts a fresh attempt. There is no countdown. The active clock starts with your first pair, Hint or successful Shuffle and pauses when you pause or leave the tab.

    A little progress worth keeping.

Eight achievements recognize real pair progress, a two-turn connection, an outside route, a first clear, both board modes, a clean first clear and three distinct deals. A clean clear means no Hint request, successful Shuffle, Undo or Restart before that deal's first completion. Undo, Redo, reload and Restart cannot duplicate a clear or upgrade an earlier assisted result.

Pause hides tile pictures, identifying labels and routes. Sound starts off. Route effects and stars stay out of the way and respect reduced motion. Saving is local to this browser; if storage is unavailable, keep the tab open because the deal and stars can be lost when you leave.
